Dulahazra Safari Park

Bangladesh is a diverse country that attracts thousands of visitors each year. Tourists flock to the country to experience its unique culture, meet its friendly locals and enjoy the magnificence of the country’s wildlife. Many reserves and conservation projects have been established in Bangladesh to protect its rare wildlife and bird populations, and one such breathtaking eco-tourism initiative is the Dulahazra Safari Park.

Dulahazra Safari Park was developed on an undulating landscape of around 2,224 acres of area at Chakaria Upazila in Cox's Bazar District, Bangladesh, some 107 km away from the port city, with an objective to create facilities for eco-tourism, research work and entertainment aside from conserving wild animals in a natural environment.

Dulahazra Park is home to at least 4,000 animals of 165 species. After the new government took over in January 2007, joint forces rescued many of these new residents of the park during their drives at houses and establishments owned by graft suspects. The seized and donated animals recently sent to the park include 90 spotted deer (chital), 42 barking deer (maya, a species of muntjac deer), three sambar deer, one freshwater crocodile, one saltwater crocodile, nine black bear, four pythons, 17 peacocks, 19 Turkish pheasants and two emus. The park itself protects a large number of wild elephants which are native to the area. In the safari park there are domesticated elephants which are available for a ride. Other animal attractions include lions, Bengal tigers, Crocodiles, Bears, Chitals and lots of different types of birds and monkeys.

Visitors can be driven through the park by jeep to explore the extraordinary wildlife, and there is a specially constructed tower for tourists where they are able to look out over the park and view numerous animals. It is really the ideal attraction for a family outing, as it is also a research centre that focuses on conserving the environment as well as educating the public.

A Natural Tourist Spot In Bangladesh "JAFLONG"

Jaflong is one of the best tourism spots in Bangladesh. This spot is situated in Sylhet (one of the division headquarters in Bangladesh). The spot is situated between Bangladesh and Indian-remote hilly forests. The place is below the mountain range and so, it is popular for white stone collection that comes from the hilly river. Khasi is one of the tribal people in Bangladesh who live in Jaflong.

The place is 60Km far away from the town and as an assumption, it takes about 2 hours long drive. The white stones come from the Mari River in India. From this spot, you can go to Tamabil, Sripur and Jaintapur tourism spot in Sylhet.

There are also other attraction in that spot such as Green Forests Mountain View, Green Tea Garden, Khasia Rajbari ( a palace where King existed many years back), Dauki River and Bazar, Nut and betel leaf gardens, Piyain River and also colorful tribal life.

After you reach in Jaflong, you will get experience of vivid vista of nature. I personally recommend you to visit at Sunny day to get some new experience at tourism spot. It is really a novel sight for me because of the beautiful sight scene. I think you will start to take memorable photos continuously until any one can stop you due to its natural beauty.

The Awesome Place "NARIKEL JINJIRA" (St. Martin's Island)

Saint Martin Island lays on the bay of Bengal on the southern side of cox’s bazaar, under cox’s bazaar district .At low tide the island measures approximately eight square kilometers and at high tide the island reduces in size, to about five square kilometers. But don’t let the size of the island deter you from exploring its beauty and hidden secrets. It is one of the most beautiful places in the country where you can recharge yourself after a long tiring life.
There are about 5500 people lives in the island and make a living from fishing and tourism. There are a few luxury ocean liners that include St Martin’s Island in their routes. The beautiful white beaches, full of coral, the lines of coconut trees and the mind-blowing view of the sea with crystal clear water will blow anyone’s heart.

You can go to Saint Martin in two ways. First go on own arrangement. In that case you have to take the bus to teknaf , then cut the ticket of saint martin from tecnaf , then go to saint martin and look for food and hotel arrangements . But the better way is to go under a package which provides you all. In that case you have to spend 1500-2500 taka. There are many hotels available now in Saint Martin, so there will be no problem of food and accommodation. Hotel Obokas can be a good choice in this case.

Saint Martin Island is perfect for nature lovers. It is so beautiful that it can not be described in words, the beauty of the place increases more at night, when moon comes out of cloud to give company. The entire mobile network is available in Saint Martin, so you can enjoy internet in your laptop too.
In a nutshell , all I can say that , if you have not been to saint martin that means you are still missing something in your life , its  a place that will take you back to the childhood and you will feel it each and every second you pass there.

Experience the Sundarbans

A tour of the Sundarbans is equal parts peaceful and adventurous.  On the one hand, you are far removed from the hustle and bustle of the city; the only traffic fishing boats on the rivers and the incessant horn honking is replaced by bird calls.  On the other, you’re visiting a jungle, complete with predatory wildlife including the famed Royal Bengal Tiger.

Even if you don’t spot any tell-tale stripes, there is still plenty of wildlife to make traveling the Sundarban Forest interesting.  The birds alone are worth the journey.  Hundreds of species of birds call the Sundarbans home, to hear all their unique voices is something you won’t soon forget.  There are 8 species of Kingfishers alone, not to mention Parakeets, Herons, Pelicans, and Storks. If you are even remotely interested in Bird Watching, a trip to the Sundarban Forest is a must.

If you’re hoping to see animals of the four-legged variety, you will not be disappointed.  Chital deer are frequently spotted dashing gracefully amongst the trees while crocodiles roam the banks and small monkeys climb through the leafy branches above.
