The Awesome Place "NARIKEL JINJIRA" (St. Martin's Island)

Saint Martin Island lays on the bay of Bengal on the southern side of cox’s bazaar, under cox’s bazaar district .At low tide the island measures approximately eight square kilometers and at high tide the island reduces in size, to about five square kilometers. But don’t let the size of the island deter you from exploring its beauty and hidden secrets. It is one of the most beautiful places in the country where you can recharge yourself after a long tiring life.

There are about 5500 people lives in the island and make a living from fishing and tourism. There are a few luxury ocean liners that include St Martin’s Island in their routes. You can go to Saint Martin in two ways. First go on own arrangement. In that case you have to take the bus to teknaf , then cut the ticket of saint martin from tecnaf , then go to saint martin and look for food and hotel arrangements . But the better way is to go under a package which provides you all. In that case you have to spend 1500-2500 taka.
